Inspection
and Revision
At Tronitec, quality control begins the moment a defective board
arrives for repair. We carefully inspect and clean each board
and assign it a Tronitec serial number to track its repair history.
Then we update the board to the manufacturer's current revision
level. Many boards also receive functional upgrades. These upgrades
are designed to increase the reliability of the board and assure
full compatibility with newer boards.

Functional
Test
Tronitec's test engineering group has developed specialized equipment
and procedures to test each board. Faulty components are identified
for replacement. Critical circuits are stress tested to locate
marginal components likely to fail in the future. Computer-aided
testing and diagnostics are used to maintain consistent quality.

Repair
Tronitec uses only high-quality components that meet or exceed
the original manufacturer's specifications. We automatically replace
components that have unsatisfactory performance histories, even
if the parts have not failed. Our emphasis on preventive maintenance
results in improved reliability and less equipment downtime. Conformal
coating is reapplied to certain boards as specified by the original
manufacturer. We then carefully inspect repaired boards to be
sure they meet our exacting workmanship standards.

System
Test
Repaired boards are further tested in a working system. All circuit
functions are verified and closely monitored under simulated field
conditions. Circuit modifications due to revision or rework are
tested and inspected for overall quality of work. In addition,
repaired boards from our stock are randomly selected for daily
quality audits that measure compliance to engineering specifications.
These quality checks are designed to ensure that every Tronitec
rebuilt board works when you install it.

Final
Inspection
Tronitec performs the final inspection with careful attention
to detail. Our experienced staff performs more than 20 visual
checks to guarantee excellent cosmetic quality and to verify that
all boards are updated to current engineering revision levels.
We seal each board in a static-shielding bag and package it for
shipping in a reusable carton. Each carton is labeled with the
part number, serial number, description and date of repair.
Because we
support some of the largest field service companies in the nation,
we know the importance of innovation in a high-volume repair depot.
